My name is Karen Naranjo Limón… yes, that is my actual last name, and I figured having one like that came with the responsibility of putting it to good use. I guess the logo makes a little more sense now.
I originally trained as an industrial designer at Universidad Iberoamericana and later specialized in product and packaging design during an exchange program in Milan. Somewhere along the way, I realized I was never particularly interested in staying within a single discipline.
Over the years, my work across consumer brands, product design, packaging systems, and physical experiences has gradually shifted the way I think. I’ve become increasingly fascinated by understanding what makes ideas resonate, why certain brands feel desirable, and how creativity can shape the way people connect, perceive value, and ultimately choose.
That curiosity eventually led me to pursue a Master’s in Strategic Marketing at EGADE Business School, deepening my interest in the intersection of design, consumer behavior, business strategy, and brand building.
Outside of work, I draw constant inspiration from music, fashion, photography, visual culture, and the subtle details most people tend to overlook. At my core, I’m driven by curiosity always observing, connecting ideas, and trying to understand what makes certain things impossible to ignore.
People who work with me know I like to think first before opening Pinterest.
